For the primary time, Azerbaijan held the Organic Food Festival in Baku on June 21-23. The competition presented organic meals merchandise from greater than 50 local agencies.
The Azerbaijani Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations, the State Agrarian Trade Company and the Proactiv PR organization were organizers of the competition.
The SMEs Development Agency and representatives of micro and small corporations offered environmentally pleasant products, which include honey, natural teas, fruit juices, diverse vegetable oils, domestic-made sweets and spices, rice, dried fruits.
The Agency enables micro, and small agencies and startups to gift their products at prestigious exhibitions, festivals and fairs, and attempts to assist marketers in creating and extending partnership ties within these exhibitions.
Vugar Zeynalov, the Vice-President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan, informed newshounds at the sidelines of the Organic Food Festival that there’s a plan to amplify the production of organic fertilizers.
Zeynalov stated that currently, the manufacturing of organic fertilizers has already started, but it nonetheless doesn’t meet the demand of the domestic marketplace, especially in the agricultural area.
He also brought that considering the high call for of farms for natural fertilizers, it’s far beneficial to establish this production domestically.
‘This is a rational concept, given that these merchandises are perishable, and manufacturing within the areas will reduce the want for materials from Baku,” Zeynalov said.
