AURORA, Colo. (KCNC/CBS Newspath/WKRC) – Imagine being allergic to eating food– no longer simply peanuts or shellfish, but maximum, if not all, foods.
There is a swallowing disease referred to as Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE). It’s a white blood cell sickness that reasons the frame to think the meal is a parasite and it then assaults itself.
Six-year-vintage Eliana “Eli” Yelpaala is an affected person at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She has EoE.
“It’s the hypersensitive reaction to food and it provides in her esophagus,” stated Sara Yelpaala, Eli’s mom.

Having EoE is difficult to swallow. However, Eli’s dad and mom are constructive she will be able to find a healthful panel of ingredients that offer the vitamins she desires and is secure.
